Product Description & Benefits:
One of our most popular styles, the Female High Back Full Body Girdle Breast Augmentation Compression Garment W/Bra – Stage Two - Above Knee offers a supportive built-in bra, thigh-length legs, and full abdominal and back coverage and provides additional compression and support during Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery in the breast, back, abdomen, flank, buttock, hip and thigh area. Made with no zippers for extra compression, this Stage Two, open-crotch above knee girdle is particularly suited for patients having a tummy tuck and/or liposuction along with a breast surgery at the same time. Worn once your Stage One garment (worn during initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate, this Stage Two garment also helps improve blood circulation, minimizes any swelling that remains, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours. In addition to being designed for skin retracting and body shaping, this garment is made to be particularly comfortable for long-term wear. This garment is appropriate for breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, mastectomy, tummy tuck and liposuction.
This garment features a 100% latex-free fabric that offers enhanced support and more durable compression performance. The garment’s silky and soft fabric is stretchable to make it easier to slip on and off, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable to keep you clean, dry and fresh all day long. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the “feel good” comfort that patients demand.
Stage One Garment: A Stage One garment that goes with this Stage One garment is available and can be found at: Female High Back Full Body Girdle Compression Garment W/Bra – Stage One - Above Knee. Doctors may recommend that patients wear compression garments during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, a Stage Two garment may be recommended. By having both the Stage One and Stage Two garments, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is essential for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and for having the greatest degree of comfort.
Instructions For Use: Assume a seated position in a chair or on a bed with the garment next to you. While seated, step your legs into the garment and slide it up to your knees and/or thighs. While remaining seated, you should now be able to gently position the garment into place on your upper body. Standing up very slowly and using the chair or bed to provide support, pull the garment fully into place, making sure the crotch opening is correctly positioned. If you do not feel comfortable standing up, please lie on your back to apply the garment. If you have someone to assist you, they can help with the positioning of the garment. Once the garment is positioned, the shoulder straps should be fastened and adjusted.
The garment is typically worn during Stage Two (2-8 weeks or longer, depending on the doctor’s instructions) of post-surgery recovery. The Stage Two garment is worn once your Stage One garment (first 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The compression garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
Applicable Procedures: Breast Augmentation (Breast Implants, Transaxillary Submuscular Breast Augmentation, Trans Umbilical Breast Augmentation), Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Breast Reduction, Breast Reconstruction, Latisimus Dorsi procedure, Lipoplasty, Liposculpture, Liposuction (Abdomen, Buttock, Flank, Hip, Thigh), Mastectomy, Tram Flap procedures, Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty).

Note: Please size yourself according to what your measurements are BEFORE your procedure. If you did not size yourself prior to surgery, see below for tips.
Stage One Garment: This type of garment is typically worn right after surgery during the initial 1-2 weeks of post-op and it is designed to be less tight and bigger due to your swelling. Stage One garments have zippers for ease of putting it on and taking it off.
Stage Two Garment: This type of garment is typically worn during 2-8 weeks post-op or longer (as needed) and it is designed to be smaller and tighter since you will have less swelling during this phase. Stage Two garments do not have zippers.
If you are ordering a Girdle, you do not need to take the Under Bust measurements.

Measuring Tips
If your measurements cause you to be "in between two sizes" with a Stage 2 garment of this brand, you may want to choose the bigger size as the second stage garments in this brand tend to run small. If you are in between two sizes for a Stage 1 garment, then you may be able to keep the smaller size or the bigger size option depending on how many inches difference you are from the smaller size range and the bigger size range.
Additionally, it is important to always give priority to the measurement that is addressing your surgical area. For example, if you had a tummy tuck and are buying an above the knee garment, and your thigh measurement indicates a Medium and your waist measurement indicates a Large, then you will want to select for a Large.
How do I estimate my measurements if I did not size myself before my surgery?
Stage One Garment: If your surgery already happened and you are a few days post-op and will have the garment delivered to you quickly so that it arrives only a few days after your surgery, then you can consider a stage 1 garment still (however, if by the time you get the garment you will be in your second week you may want to just get a Stage 2 garment). If you did not size yourself prior to the surgery, the size you should get for your Stage 1 garment depends on the degree of swelling that you are currently experiencing. If you are considerably swollen right now, you can size yourself according to where you are today and then you may take off 1" inch from your current measurement depending on how swollen you are. It is not recommended to take off more than 1" inch as the garments in this brand offer substantial compression and are tight. For example, if your waist is a 36" right now after surgery and you are swollen to the point where you think you've added about 1-2 inches, then use the measurement of 35" (36-1=35) for your waist to determine the size of garment to select. If you are not very swollen, you can simply size yourself according to your current post-surgery measurements.
Stage Two Garment: If you are at or around 1-2 weeks post-op (or even earlier or later than this period) and have little or no swelling, you can size yourself according to where you are today and use your current post-surgery measurements to determine what size of garment to select. Even if you have some swelling at this stage, you may want to size yourself according to where you are today and not take off any inches (to compensate for swelling) because the garments in this brand tend to run small. At the maximum, if you have a lot of swelling still then take your current size and take off 1" inch from your current measurement to determine the size of garment to select.
